Australia Business Investment Sub-class 188 visa

This visa allows you to own or manage a business in Australia, the business innovation stream; continue your business and investment activity in Australia, the investor stream, the Significant Investor stream and the premium investor stream; continue your entrepreneurial activity in Australia, Entrepreneur stream. You will be able to get this visa if you are nominated by a state or a territory government or the government of Australia. You should hold a provisional business innovation and investment visa (subclass 188) and you should meet all the minimum requirements in the stream you have applied.

 

Australia Business Subclass 188 visa

This visa allows you to own and manage a business in Australia, the business innovation stream; continue your business and investment activity in Australia, the investor stream, the Significant Investor stream and the premium investor stream; start your own entrepreneurial activity in Australia, Entrepreneur stream. You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are nominated by a state or a territory government in Australia or through invitation.

 

Australia Business subclass 132 Visa

This visa allows you to start or develop a new business in Australia. This visa has two streams, high capacity business owners or part-owners who want to do business in Australia, the significant business history stream and the people who have capital funding from a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL).You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are nominated by a state or a territory government in Australia or through invitation. You must have either a net business and personal assets of at least AUD1.5 million and an annual business turnover of at least AUD3 million if you intend to apply for the visa in the significant business history stream, or at least an AUD1 million in venture capital funding to start the commercialization and development of a high-value business idea in Australia if you intend to apply for the visa in the venture capital entrepreneur stream.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is responsible for regulating companies and financial institutions. A search of the National Names Index on the ASIC website will provide some basic information about a company, but for more detailed information you may need to approach a business information broker. There is a listing of recommended business information brokers on the ASIC website.

Business.gov.au provides information if you own or want to start a business importing goods or want to expand your business through exporting goods.
