Study Visa requirements

Study Permit allows students to study in Canada either at a primary, secondary, or post-secondary institution or in a vocational or professional capacity. To be eligible to apply for a student permit, a student must be enrolled in a program of study and the institution should be listed under Designated Learning institutions (DLI) list authorized by CIC. Students can file their visa applications under three categories which are S.P.P, General, and University. Duration of the study permit will be the same as the duration of the course. A valid study permit allows you to live and study in Canada for the duration of your course. The study permit entitles students to work up to 20 hours a week alongside your studies, and full-time during semester breaks. To initiate the visa process candidates first need a letter of acceptance from a recognized higher education provider.
